VES31-4SR/8SR 4/8 POE + 2 GbE Switch for Rail

The fanless VES 31-4SR/VES 31-8SR unmanaged mobile PoE switch is ideal for telematics applications in harsh environments. It has 6/10 Gigabit Fast Ethernet ports, including 4/8 IEEE 802.3af/at compliance PoE+ ports, for smoothly and quickly transferring large amounts of video streaming, voice, and critical data across an Ethernet network.

For trains with a 24VDC power system, the mobile PoE switches support a wide voltage input range of 9VDC to 36VDC. Smart power management is provided by VES 31-4SR/VES 31-8SR, which includes low battery voltage protection, a power-on and power-off delay timer, and auto ignition power on/off functions. These distinct features can ensure reliable operation and prevent both PoE switches and trains from failing prematurely.

VES 31-4SR/VES 31-8SR are fanless dustproof enclosures that can withstand shock, vibration, and temperature extremes ranging from -40 to 70°C. The mobile PoE switches are also small in size and support din rail mounting for ease of installation with PD devices like IP cameras and Wi-Fi access points.
