Transcend's MTE672A M.2 SSD is a self-encrypting drive (SED) that meets TCG (Trusted Computing Group) Opal 2.0 specifications. AES 256-bit hardware encryption and LBA (Logical Block Address) sector-specific permissions are used to secure data.

With its 112-layer 3D NAND flash and PCI Express (PCIe) Gen 3 x4 interface, Transcend's MTE672A M.2 SSD achieves record-breaking transfer rates that are compliant with NVM Express (NVMe) 1.3 specifications. Additionally, the Corner Bond technology, the 30" gold finger PCB, and the anti-sulphur resistors ensure its dependability under adverse circumstances. Additionally, Transcend's MTE672A is completely tested in-house in a chamber at prolonged operating temperatures of -20°C to 75°C.
