With a fanless inclosure, the VES 31-4S/VES 31-8S unmanaged mobile PoE switch is ideal for telematics applications in harsh environments. It has 6/10 Gigabit Fast Ethernet ports, including 4/8 IEEE 802.3af/at compliance PoE+ ports, for smoothly and quickly transferring large amounts of video streaming, voice, and critical data across an Ethernet network.

Because a vehicle's power source is inherently unstable, mobile PoE switches support a wide voltage input range of 9VDC to 36VDC and offer smart power management features such as low battery voltage protection, power-on and power-off delay timers, and auto ignition power on/off functions. These distinct features can ensure dependable operation and prevent both the PoE switches and the vehicle from failing prematurely.

VES 31-4S/VES 31-8S are fanless dustproof inclosures that can withstand shock, vibration, and temperature extremes ranging from -40 to 70°C. The mobile PoE switches are also small in size and support din rail mounting for ease of installation with PD devices like IP cameras and Wi-Fi access points.
